Overview

Design — Ghost shape
Thanks to an adaptive shape it can be installed both with an additional classic frame or totally without frames, offering the possibility of being invisible when turned off. The frame can be customizable and has to be ordered separately if required.

Light quality
The use of a technological material for the lens delivers an incredibly homogeneous enlightened surface; when the downlights are turned off the internal components are completely hidden for an elegant appearance.

Optics and LEDs
The light is emitted by 8 OSRAM LEDs arranged according to a luminous flux study to obtain the best result. The standard white temperature is 3.000K; other white temperatures available on request.

Materials & corrosion resistance
The total plastic body eliminates the risk of galvanic currents and potential corrosion, making the downlight safe for marine use and keeping its appearance over time.

Electronics & protections
The product uses automotive-certified components to resist battery voltage peaks and includes an automatic shut-off system to prevent damage from overvoltages. Electronics are resistant up to 60Vdc; from 32Vdc up to 60Vdc the device automatically shuts down to prevent damages. Protections include polarity reverse, overheating protection, short-circuit protection and protection against electrostatic charges and voltage peaks.

Behaviour & dimming
Both the turning ON and the turning OFF phases occur with a smooth fade in / fade out effect to soften light changes. SMARTSPOT light can be dimmed from 100% down to 0% with a true deep dimming mode (not a simple PWM effect), offering a very soft intensity change and a relaxing ambient light.

Installation & mechanical
Reduced encumbrance: total height just 44.4 mm, allowing installation where spaces are limited. Projector dimensions: Diameter 50 mm x thickness 44,4 mm. Super light weight due to the use of plastic in screen and heatsink, contributing to overall weight reduction.

Environmental & ingress
Degree of protection IP68: suitable for internal rooms and external corridors; waterproof.
