The Ullman Sails FD spinnaker has been developed to deliver superior shape and speed with a longer performance life. We have designed it to be as flat as possible with respect to the FD class mid girth, and out to maximum measurement to ensure greater area projection. The sail is also very fast reaching because of a flat vertical profile with relatively open edges, giving the sail greater light-air speed.

Our Ullman spinnaker has a full radial design with three cloth options: Dynakote 75, or superkote 60 or 50. Nylon is fast in light breeze because it can absorb shocks, and we recommend a holmenkoll finish that makes the sail super slippery and resistant to water absorption. It also makes the chute easy to use. Our narrow panel radial construction delivers the quickest response to a gust and the design addresses loads evenly, meaning the sails have the longest performance life on the market.
