TRITON WATER

Water normally flows downhill on land and one can use the force of water in order to discharge it in the waste water system. If one is moving not on land but on the sea, then one has to move the waste water too in another way as the movement of the ship partly annuls the natural gravitational force.
Therefore, we do not leave the waste water flow to nature at the sea but set up a procedure.

It functions like a pneumatic delivery system. A waste water “stopper” is created in a relatively narrow pipeline cross section. On one side air is withdrawn (by a vacuum pump) and on the other side atmospheric air is let in.
The stopper is moved in the direction of the vacuum until the pressure at both the sides is equalized. Thus, water is transported “uphill" at the sea.

Thus, one can install waste water pipes in the ceiling above the objects e.g. toilets, showers or wash basins. There exists a big saving potential at pipe installation in case of a pipe diameter reduced to half.

Another big advantage of vacuum toilets is the low water requirement. Approx. 1 to 1.5 liters are required instead of 6 to 9 liters. Currently the importance of water generation as well as waste water treatment is enormous in case of passenger liners and e.g. marine ships.

We provide vacuum plants for black- and grey water, vacuum toilets in various types and all “interface” valves for grey water. Our vacuum plants are designed for fully automatic operation and do not require any monitoring. Moreover, they are furnished with an SPS in order to adjust the plant to various operating conditions.
