The great advantage of the carbon construction is that we can arrange the direction of the fibres and as a consequence adjust precisely the vertical and horizontal stiffness as required. This adjustment is not possible with aluminium.
Lab tests combined with water tests have shown that it is possible to improve greatly the carving of a ski especially at the end of the turn and for this reason get more angle to across the wake. Our carbon fins gives a feeling that the water has become softer and smoother making the ski more controllable.
